garlic mashed potatoes
4 russett potatoes (or the equivalent amount of your favorite potato variety)
1/2 bulb garlic (for the garlic lovers)
1/4 cup skim milk (more or less depending on how creamy you like it)
2 tbsp butter
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese (or more)
salt and pepper to taste
wash and peel the potatoes. peel garlic. chop potatoes into cubes. add garlic and potato cubes to a pot, add water to cover. boil for 20 minutes until potatoes are soft.  when soft, drain, and then return to the pot. add milk, butter, cheese, s&p.  use wooden spoon to mix it up. ta da!
